Dr. Leggett has performed over 200 risk reviews, analyses, and accident investigations using all of the conventional hazard evaluation techniques. Approximately two-thirds of the work has been directed toward chemical reactivity and its impact on the management of chemical process risk. These reviews and risk assessments have analyzed the hazards of all unit operations that are commonly encountered in full-scale continuous operations, pilot plants and R&D labs.
